Separate beds

We love to sleep together and as often as we can, we lay on top of one another. Snuggling in, smelling each other and enjoying the warmth of each others body, is comforting.

Waking up in the middle of the night, with the head of your partner in your neck, can be reassuring but at the same time, that head can become very heavy, making it hard for you to breathe. So we decided it was time to get separate beds.. We're not sure yet what to think of it, because we're not used to sleeping apart.

The beds were here pretty fast. It didn't take us too long to put them together and the pillows that came with the beds are warm and cosy. We took our time to observe the beds and see them from all sides.
We decided which side of the bed we were going to take and as soon as we had figured that out, it was time to test out the cosiness of single beds.

The bedding was nice and soft (we don't like satin bedding, thank you) and there was plenty of room to stretch out. We climbed into the bed and kissed each other good night. What a difference... nobody was poking the other and there was no heavy breathing in neither one's neck. We might get used to this concept. It's time for a nap! Talk to you later!

Yours truly,
