May 5 1995. The day we got married. I had given birth to our first daughter just a couple of weeks earlier. We wanted to get married, to give our daughter a good future. Things had gone real fast for us as a couple, but we were confident about our future as a family.
Our firstborn turned 16 in March. Today we have been married for 16 years.. It doesn't seem that long, but the date proves the contrary. For 16 years we have lived our lives as husband and wife, father and mother. We have been through some turbulent moments together, but we hung on and relied on our love to make things work.
Life is an adventure. Marriage is an adventure. An adventure worth living.
